The Oscars, Wolverine now a musical. Hugh Jackman will star in a new movie musical "The Greatest Showman on Earth". He will be playing the showman P.T. Barnum. The news was confirmed by Twentieth Century Fox.

Paula Abdul Performance - American Idol season 8 May 6 2009

After Paula put together a much praised choreography for the contestants this season we got to see her perform her own song on the stage of American Idol on May 6 2009. She sang "I'm Just Here For The Music" which is one of her new songs surrounded by dancers. Paula Abdul is known not only for her songs but also for her talents as a dancer. All over the web there has been a controversy surrounding Paula Abdul's performance, many people "saw" that she was lip-synching and called foul.

Indeed, they believe that since American Idol is a singing competition and because Ms Abdul is one of the judges who get to criticize the contestants after their performances, she should not be "allowed" to lip-synch her song.

Paula is not a contestant on American Idol, she's a judge the rules that apply to the contestants obviously don't apply to her. She is not judges after her performance. Besides, the group song is sometimes lip-synched as well. Personally I couldn't care less. It's like saying being making music videos should not lip-synch. People don't really care, it's not a like rock concert or anything of the sort. It's just Paula Abdul promoting her new song and whether she sung it live or not if you like the song you would have enjoyed it.

On that same night Allison Iraheta was eliminated from the competition.
